HCS dazzle on The Courtyard stage - for One Night Only

For One Night Only this week, Hereford Cathedral School pupils brought the magic to The Courtyard stage, performing a hugely impressive programme of musical theatre, dance and drama.

The evening included songs from The Addams Family, Carousel and Les Misérables, dance numbers, Shakespeare scenes, appearances from Cantabile Girls' Choir, The Acafellas, the HCS Jazz Band and much more! The show was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the breadth of talent that we have among our pupil body.

Director of Drama, Mr Martin said: "One Night Only was such a triumph. It was a real treat to see so many pupils from so many year groups demonstrating such an astonishing depth and breadth of talent. Moments of gorgeous musicality, breath-taking choreography and charged dramatic performance all fused together to prove what a rich tapestry of artists we have at HCS, and it was really heartening to see some of our most experienced students supporting and guiding those who had not yet worked in The Courtyard. The opportunity to perform in a professional theatre, with professional technicians, is not one that we take for granted, and we're so excited to make a start on our next school musical, which will be held at The Courtyard in February 2025."
