This area of learning covers Exploring & Using Media & Materials and Being Imaginative. We encourage the children to explore through song, music and dance, and experiment with ways of changing them.
We offer our Reception classes regular opportunities to represent their ideas and thoughts through being creative and imaginative. The children explore a variety of materials, tools, techniques and investigate texture, colour and design.
At HCJS, we encourage good safety habits and teamwork through this area of learning. The children develop exceptional fine motor skills and explore other related areas, such as construction and rhythm.
