Step 1

Visit us

You are welcome to come along to an open morning or a visitor tour morning which are held throughout the year. These are great opportunities to see the school and sixth form centre. You’ll also be able to meet sixth form students and find out more about the 20+ subject options on offer.

If you would like to attend an event, or would like to arrange a personal tour, please contact Admissions on 01432 363506 or email admissions@herefordcs.com.

The next step is to complete a registration form. We ask you to register your interest in joining the school as soon as possible. Step 4

Attend an interview

Your son/daughter will receive an invitation to attend an interview, and if applicable, our sixth form scholarship assessments.

Step 5

Confirmation of place

Successful candidates will receive an offer of a place, subject to achieving the expected GCSE grades. This will also include details of any scholarship awarded. If you apply for fee assistance, this will be confirmed in a separate letter.

Once you have received an offer of a place, we ask that you accept the place in writing as soon as possible (an acceptance fee is payable). This will secure your child’s place.

Step 6

Welcome to HCS!

Once your son/daughter has secured a place in our sixth form, you will receive a joining pack with everything you need to know about joining the school. All Year 12 students are invited to an induction day on the first day of term in September.
