Scott wins 'Design a Christmas Card' competition

Congratulations to Hereford Cathedral School Year 7 pupil Scott S, whose design was the winning entry in our Design a Christmas Card competition.

Scott’s beautiful drawing of Hereford Cathedral is now adorning the School’s Christmas cards, which are now sitting on mantelpieces across the county.

HCS Headmaster Mr Smith commented: "Many congratulations to Scott. I have been pleased to send Christmas cards, to friends of the School, which include the artwork of a pupil. Scott’s inclusion of the Cathedral was not only an apt choice, but his drawing also demonstrates the high standard of art that we have come to expect from HCS pupils."

Eleven-year-old Scott, who likes to draw at home when he has the time, said he was surprised to win the competition.
