HCJS progress in Songs of Praise Young Choir of the Year

Congratulations to Hereford Cathedral Junior School Chamber Choir who have been selected for the semi-finals of the BBC One Songs of Praise Young Choir of the Year.
A CD entry was sent to the judges in November and they faced tough competition from hundreds of choirs across the UK. Only a few choirs are chosen for the televised performance so the children are extremely proud to be one of them.
The Chamber Choir will be working hard now to learn a difficult new piece of music in time for the filming on Saturday 3 March. This will be broadcast later in the spring.
