It was wonderful to host Jesse Norman MP at Hereford Cathedral Junior School on Friday morning.
He spoke to pupils in years 4, 5 and 6 about the workings of the UK voting system and the passing of laws. Year 4 have been learning all about democracy, and they were able to ask Mr Norman all about his life as an MP. The children asked some thoughtful questions, including ‘Who was your favourite prime minister?’ and ‘What is it like to work in the Houses of Parliament?’
Many thanks to Mr Norman for visiting!
