Hereford International School Ltd (HISL) is a trading subsidiary of Hereford Cathedral School and is the means through which Hereford Cathedral School operates overseas. Set up in 2019, the subsidiary has exclusive rights to franchise the names and marks of the school.
Hereford International School Ltd works in partnership with We Enjoy Learning Ltd (a UK-based Chinese educational company) and Yiqingtang Educational Group in Jiangsu Province, China. This agreement was signed by Dr Michael Gray, Headmaster of Hereford Cathedral School on behalf of HISL in October 2023 and marked the first part of a major international collaboration. The terms of the agreement enable Hereford International School Ltd to provide a number of educational services to some of the leading public schools within Jiangsu Province and beyond, and for Yiqingtang Educational Group to use the Hereford Cathedral School brand for the international programmes of these institutions.
