The first-ever HCS Jazz Night at The Left Bank Village was a resounding success, bringing together pupils, parents and staff for an evening of music, food and conversation.
The HCS Jazz Band was in top form, delivering a lively set of big band classics, with standout vocals from Fifi P, Iona A, Cassie A and Ollie C. The HCS Rock Band followed with an electrifying performance, impressing the audience with their unique sound and fusion of styles. Their high-energy set was balanced by a poignant and reflective vocal performance from Perdy J.
Earlier in the day, guest artists James Eager (bass) and Sarah Ellen Hughes (vocals) led an inspiring workshop for pupils, sharing their expertise and passion for jazz. The evening culminated with their two dazzling sets, captivating the audience with jazz-inspired arrangements.
