A Christmas Carol: 3-5 December

A Christmas Carol

Oh! But he was a tight-fisted hand at the grindstone, Scrooge! A squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous, old sinner!

Mr Ebenezer Scrooge hates Christmas. But a series of ghostly encounters on a cold and haunting Christmas Eve night tests the limitations of his life and his beliefs.

Reflect upon your present blessings — of which every man has many — not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some.

Join us as we take a journey through Victorian London in this unique promenade production, adapted by Mr Ben Abbott, that takes place within both the School site and the Cathedral Close.

There will be three promenade performances each evening, starting from the Powell Theatre, Church Street, at 6pm, 6.30pm and 7pm. Age 7+. Please note this event will take place outdoors and clothing suitable for the prevailing weather conditions is recommended.
