It was wonderful to welcome local author Jenny Valentine to the HCS Library yesterday.
She hosted a thought-provoking workshop for Year 9 pupils, and then joined Book Club for an engaging chat over lunch about their favourite book themes and what they love to write about themselves.
Rossiter Books were on hand in the library, offering pupils the chance to purchase a signed copy of Jenny’s latest book, Us in the Before and After.
Enormous thanks to Jenny and the team from Rossiters for creating such a buzz in the library!
