A beautiful design crafted by Hereford Cathedral School Year 9 pupil Otto C-K, has been chosen to adorn the Headmaster’s Christmas card this year.
Art Scholar Otto’s attractive watercolour, featuring a robin in a snowy scene, was picked from dozens of entries in this year’s HCS Christmas card competition.
The Headmaster commented: “This year the number and quality of entries was very high, and it proved to be a much harder decision than in previous years. However, I felt that Otto had captured the traditional ‘Christmas Robin’ theme really well, and whilst I had plenty to choose from, his card particularly resonated with me. I should also commend Otto for the quality of his art work, which was extremely high – as good as many a commercially produced card. Well done to all who provided entries, I hope that they enjoyed participating in this annual HCS event.”
Well done to Otto, who joined HCS from Moor Park earlier this year. He receives a set of finished cards featuring his design as his prize.
