Hereford Cathedral choristers immerse themselves in a unique lifestyle and reap the rewards of a musical education like no other.
Integral to the Cathedral’s daily worship, they have the honour of performing in one of the UK’s most ancient buildings and at extraordinary occasions, which have included singing in the Sistine Chapel for the Pope, Guard’s Chapel, London, at Buckingham Palace, the 75th & 80th anniversaries of D-Day in France and for the viewers of BBC’s Songs of Praise.
Through this journey, choristers develop confidence, independence, and a profound musical acumen.
Each year, Hereford Cathedral looks for children aged between 7 and 9 to join the choir.
