The Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment is coming to Hereford Cathedral School on Wednesday 31 January to take part in the School’s Music Outreach programme.
Members of the world famous band, founded in 1942, will work with local Herefordshire musicians during the day. Then at 7pm the 45 members of the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment will perform a special concert for the public in Hereford Cathedral.

Front Nave seats are priced at £15 while Rear Nave and Transepts cost £10 each. Proceeds raised will go to RAF charities.
Also performing at the concert with the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment will be two stunning choirs from Hereford Cathedral School. The first is the Senior Chamber Choir, which on this occasion will be directed by talented 16-year-old Michael D’Avanzo who is a senior music scholar at Hereford Cathedral School. The other is the Cantabile Girls’ Choir who were crowned Barnardo’s School Choir of the Year at the Royal Festival Hall in 2017.
