Today, Hereford Cathedral School pupils in years 8-10 learned how to programme ‘Gordon’ the cobot from our visitors from Absolute Robotics.
Ben and Steve from Absolute Robotics joined us from their base in the Bristol Robotics Lab at the University of the West of England. The tasked the pupils with creating a system flow chart to programme the robotic arm to pick up a die, move it, and then drop it into a cup.
The pupils learned to modify their initial system flow charts to guarantee their end result. They clearly enjoyed learning a new programming language, and gained a lot from this inspiring session.
Many thanks to Ben and Steve from Absolute Robotics, and of course, Gordon! ?
