The range of trips offered to our Sixth Form students is designed to expand both their academic knowledge and their personal horizons. Through carefully curated excursions, students immerse themselves in the real-world applications of their studies and embrace the thrill of outdoor pursuits and challenges.
For those with an interest in economics, business and finance, our binennial trip to New York provides the opportunity to experience the heart of global markets first-hand, deepening their understanding of economic principles and firing their entrepreneurial spirit. For our Physics students, the visits to CERN open the doors to the cutting-edge discoveries that are shaping the future of science. Students explore the world’s largest particle physics laboratory, undertake hands-on experiments and engage in discussions with leading researchers.
Beyond their academic interests, our Sixth Form students also embrace the great outdoors with expeditions that challenge them both mentally and physically. From hiking the rugged terrain of the Pyrenees as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award to exploring the culture and landscapes of Rwanda or taking flight with the Combined Cadet Force, students learn invaluable lessons in teamwork, leadership, and perseverance, and feel empowered to take on future challenges in life.
These are just a taste of the many and varied trips undertaken by our most senior students, each led by our experienced and knowledgeable staff who ensure every student has an enjoyable, valuable and memorable experience.
